Adaptive Night Vision Applications (Advanced) / 5 Hour - 1 Day Course Description - (We only allow 12 students in any given class, to provide everyone the attention they deserve)

Adaptive Night Vision Applications is designed to give the advanced shooter a night on the range. This is a night based on drills with minimum instruction. We will have organized drills in and around cars, barricades, VTAC wall, run and gun drills, obstacle course, patrolling, multiple target engagements and more. Simply put, this is an organized night of running your gun under night vision utilizing the entire AFI complex.

*This is an advanced applications class. PRIOR Adaptive Carbine 2, 3 or 4 Course or reputable training required.*

Recommended Equipment

Students provide their own gun and ammo: 400rds rifle ammo minimum. 100rds handgun ammo recommended.

A functional and practical carbine or battle rifle chambered in 5.56x45, 5.45x39, 300 Blackout, 7.62x39, 7.62x51. If available, a spare weapon system is also an excellent idea. Each student should have a minimum of 4 working magazines.


  • IR (or visible) aiming laser
  • Note pad, and pen/pencil
  • Weapon Light or Flashlight (w/Replacement Batteries)
  • Sling
  • Clothing suited to strenuous activity as well as being seasonally appropriate
  • Rain gear / cold weather gear (seasonal)
  • Ear pro (electronic preferred) / Eye pro
  • Baseball style hat recommended
  • Proper belt to support equipment
  • A holster and magazine pouch that will retain equipment when moving
  • Tools that work on your weapon
  • Weapons lube
  • Water
  • Knee and elbow pads (recommended)
  • Gloves (optional)
  • An open mind
